A Genevan Craft Brewery with a Wild Side
Founded in 2015 by Xavier Righetti, L'Apaisée is an independent Swiss craft brewery rooted in the Geneva region. Inspired by the craft beer scene Xavier discovered during a stay in Quebec, the brewery was born from a desire to bring bold, hop forward, and creatively brewed beers to Switzerland. The name L'Apaisée, meaning "the relaxed one", reflects a philosophy of slowing down and reconnecting with hands on craft.
L'Apaisée has earned international recognition for its quality and creativity, including being featured in respected craft beer rankings as one of the leading Swiss craft breweries. Working under the philosophy of "Clean and Wild Ales", the brewery uses carefully selected ingredients and combines modern hop forward brewing with experimental fermentation, barrel aging, and wild ales.
The brewery covers a remarkably wide spectrum of styles, from juicy New England IPAs and Double IPAs to barrel aged Imperial Stouts, fruity Sours, Saisons, and unique blended ales. Each beer reflects Xavier's commitment to creative, high quality Swiss craft brewing rather than the uniformity of mass production.
