Birrificio Sottobisio X Pochi Imperial Stout
A bold Imperial Stout from Ticino in a special black bottle, the first in Sottobisio's unconventional beer series.
Tasting Notes
Imperial Stout style with extreme black color (you cannot see through it). Persistent and creamy deep brown head. Aroma close to Stout but without the smoky note, more rounded with cacao, liquorice, and fireplace-burned aromatic wood. On the palate: coffee, tobacco, bitter cacao with a very soft ashy note, then British hops bring cleansing bitterness, leaving coffee and cacao to linger.
