Bierwerk Züri was founded in 2021 by three passionate brewers. The idea was born in London, where they met and developed a shared dream: to offer beer as fresh as you'd get it straight at the brewery, fresh from the tank, without pasteurisation, without filtration, and without long distribution routes.

With their entire savings, the support of family and friends, and a crowdfunding campaign, they set out to make this dream a reality.

In 2023 they opened their brewery in the former SBB workshops in Zurich, a heritage protected building, where the beer is brewed and filled into cans.

Today, Bierwerk Züri pursues the mission of offering the finest beer as fresh as possible, with the best ingredients, special hop varieties, and production designed to be as sustainable as possible.
